How to Use:
Swipe your finger across the top of the balm and apply to your dog's bedding or a comforting toy. The balm may stain certain fabrics so we recommend applying it to polyester fleece which washes out well, or a soft toy or piece of fabric specifically used for the Calm Balm.
You can also massage a small amount of Calm Balm into your dog's paws or ears if they allow it.
We recommend... Introduce Calm Balm to your dog before it is needed to create a positive association. Make sure you and your dog are relaxed and the environment is quiet. I have absolute trust in all the Wild Dog Co products we use, but was doubtful that dog #2 could be calmed before settling down at night. His ritual often involves snapping and licking at legions of invisible spiders before sleep finds him. It turns out that he can! The application of Calm Balm to his chest and paws leads to 'lights out' moments later. I can't vouch for the effect it has on invisible spiders, but Calm Balm is now a part of the bedtime ritual for dog #2. Sweet dreams..
